Knitting with Jazzyfaz

I finally finished the Poncho last night.  I fixed the trim and then fringed it.  My niece is going to love it!

I took my cousins to the airport yesterday.  They arrived in China just fine and will get the baby on Sunday morning!  They come home on the 8th of September and we are all going to meet them at the airport!  I cannot wait!

I finished knitting the poncho for my niece.  I sewed it together and then knit some trim around the neck.  I finished and discovered that it would not fit over her head with the trim.  So, now I have to fix that.  God, I hate screwing up like that!

I asked my niece what she wanted for her birthday last week.  (She turns 8 in September).  She said, "Auntie I want you to make me a pink poncho".  So, last nite I go into the LYS and buy 5 skeins of Catalina 100% Baby Alpaca in Pink.  I started and am halfway through the first rectangle.  I am making her Jen's Poncho from The Knit Stitch book.

I am also finishing up a scarf made in blue from the same yarn as listed above.  That's about it as far as knitting content goes.

No new knitting news on this front. 

I was in classes all last week for my big test that was yesterday.  I got a 92 on the final practice exam.  Then, yesterday I went to the testing center to take the exam and choked!  I did not pass again!

That was it.  I cannot take this exam again.  It was not meant to be.  I just am not a good test taker.
