Woe is me!
I spent all day Saturday and then last night with my cousin and Lily. She finally came to me and stayed with me!!!!! I was so excited. Last night I went there for dinner and she recognized me right away! We were dancing and laughing and crawling and playing and having a grand old time!
I am so happy because it has only been two weeks since she came to the US and she has made so much progress.
The poncho finally fits over her head! Thank God!
Got a Gift!
Still working on the baby blanket. I got about a foot done so far. I went through my yarn stash this weekend to see exactly what it is I have...Oh Boy! You should see all the yarn I have. I don't know what to do with it all!
Later!
New Items
I am working on a few different projects and a few have been relegated to the back burner.
I started a new baby blanket for another one of my many cousins who is due in December. I have about 5 inches of it done. I am also working on a few different scarves and ponchos. The luxe top and topper have been sent to my closet to languish for awhile. Can't seem to get working on it. I also found the start of a sweater that I had been working on and forgot about. I think that has been in the closet for 6 months.
Lily is doing beautifully. She is adjusting great and has already gained
1/2 lb from last week.
I got my Secret Pal and have sent her the first gift. I can't wait for her to get it. My Secret Pal sent me an e-card. Yeah!!!
Lily is here!!!!!
I am so happy for my cousins. They were tired but beaming!
I hope everyone has as joyous a weekend as I will!
