Knitting with Jazzyfaz

Spinning

I have been having lots of fun spinning.  I plied my first singles last week.  It came out pretty good for a beginner.  So, I have decided to try again -- in between knitting, of course.  Every night I do a little knitting, a little spinning.  I even bought some rovng.  A little merino.  A lovely shade of silver and a lovely shade of blue that will make a nice mix.

Still plugging along on the baby blanket.  It is very tedious lately.  Either that or I am just really really tired!

SP7 Reveal

I received my March package from my SP7 -- Sheila.  What a great gift.  I received some Aveno Stress Relief Lotion, a foot pampering kit, paperweight, water bottle, lion brand jewel box yarn and patterns and a great little notepad.  I have pictures and will soon start putting them online.

Check out Sheila's website at http://www.batsmeow.com" title="http://www.batsmeow.com" target="_blank"http://www.batsmeow.com

Sorry I haven't written in a while, things have been very crazy!  The fashion show for Special Olympics is next week and last minute stuff is killing me!

I am also still working on a baby blanket (thank God the baby is not here yet!)  He was due over the weekend and is thankfully late!  I am 3/4 of the way done.

Thanks again Sheila and I'll write again soon!

Happy St. Patty's Day

Even though I am 100% Italian, I hope everyone has a great day today!

I got a package yesterday from my Secret Pal.  She gave me her first handbag that she has ever made!  It is very nice.  I can't wait to use it.  She also gave me a great journal that is covered in silk.  It is in my purse right now!  Thank you so much Swap Monster!!!!!

I am on my final felted bag!  YEAH!!!!  I cannot wait to finish.

Last night I learned how to spin on a drop spindle.  It is so much fun!  I had a blast.  The woman who taught me said I was a natural.  I think I have found something I enjoy as much as knitting!!!

Have a Happy St. Patty's Day and a Happy St. Joseph's Day on Sunday!

Long Time

Hi all!

I haven't written in a while.  This cold or whatever it was really knocked me for a loop.  I am finally better.  Thank God!!!

I am still working on felted bags.  I have done about 10 and have three or four more to go.  All my knitting buddies from my Thursday night group are helping me.  I am so thankful for that.

I am still looking for my next project though.  Something for ME!!!  Maybe a sweater.  I just have to find the right pattern!

Did I tell you where my trip is this year?  In June I leave for the following places on a 2 1/2 week vacation........

Switzerland, Venice, Florence, Tuscanny, French Riveria, Paris, Barcelona and Amersterdam.  I CANNOT WAIT!!!!!!!!

Later.....
