TGIF!!!!
This has been the week from hell! I don't even know where to begin.... Suffice it to say, most of it has been work (which I cannot discuss because I have heard where your bosses go online and check out blogs...I need my job!) Also, my cousins are moving out of our house this weekend, so the last week has been crazy. I have a bridal shower tomorrow amidst all of this craziness. I think that is pretty much all that is going on right now.
I am almost halfway done with Tricia's Shawl. It is knitting up very quickly, but my time knitting lately has been practically nill. Plus I am running out of yarn and have to go pick up the rest so I can finish. I put it on layaway because I could not afford it all at once. I am knitting it in Debby Bliss Cathay and it cost me $90 total for the entire shawl!
and.... drumroll please....
I am still NOT smoking! It has been just over 5 months now!

I started to make Tricia's Shawl from The Knitting Experience: The Purl Stitch Book. I am making it in Debby Bliss Cathay. I am going to take it to Europe with me in June for my nice long trip!
Not much else going on. I am still trying to relax and wind down from the Fashion Show. Next up are 2 first communions, a christening, a bridal shower, a 2nd birthday and my cousin's wedding in May.
It never ends!

Hi everyone!
The Fashion Show for Special Olympics RI was a great success! We had a turnout of 785 people! We raised over $50,000!!!! I am so excited because this was our best show yet!!!
I finished the poncho for "The Spawn of Evil". It is Fuschia and came out very pretty. I am not sure what to make next. I actually have time to decide what to make for myself.
Spinning is going the same. I have been doing it in my spare time. hahahahaha

I finished the baby blanket. It came out really nice if I do say so myself. I am now going to work on a poncho for my cousin's two-year old daughter. "The Spawn" we call her.
The Special Olympics Fashion Show is Thursday night. FINALLY!!! I really can't wait until it is all done. It just drains me.
I've been spinning as well. Not as much though.
I also signed up for SP8. I cannot believe that I have done 5 of these already!
