Hello
Hi Everyone
My tattoo is healing nicely, thank God. The colors are absolutely brilliant.
I have finished my cable scarf and wrist warmers and am now on a second pair of wrist warmers. I love this project! I can whip up quite a few as gifts in such a short period of time! I am still working on the Ella shawl -- that one is more slow going.
I have added way way way too much yarn to my stash as of late. I went on a buying binge. Some from Elann, some from Knitpicks, some from my LYS. I keep buying and cannot stop myself! It's crazy. As a matter of fact, I just made another purchase from Elann today.
Someone please help me!!!!!

Last night I got a tattoo. It is a butterfly on a lotus blossom flower. I will take a picture once I get a new camera. Getting this tattoo hurt like an SOB. It still hurts. It is very beautiful though and by tomorrow I will think the pain was worth it. Right now I don't.
I am just about finished with my cable scarf. I have to sew up the wrist warmers. I am also still working on my Ella Shawl from Knitty.

On another note, I went to my first cable class. It was alot easier than I thought. I finished a set of wrist warmers and am 3/4 of the way done with a scarf. Now there are so many other things I want to learn!
My mother is doing much better! She is back to her old self again. My starter cost $239. Not bad considering.
It's Friday!!!
What a day this has been! My morning started out as usual: got up, ironed, showered, got ready, got in car....the car that wouldn't start. I waited a few minutes, wouldn't start, repeat, repeat, repeat. Called my cousin to come and get me and take me to work. about 20 minutes later, tried to start the car....SUCCESS! Yeah, I can go to work now. Called my cousin, told her didn't need the ride. All set. Got to Dunkin Donuts to grab a coffee. Got back in car, wouldn't start. It is the starter. Called my cousin again, she came to Dunkin Donuts to wait with me while I waited for AAA. Waited for 1-1/2 hours for AAA to come. They finally came and towed the car to the mechanic's place. God only knows what this is going to cost me!
Last night at knitting I purchased some Royal Bamboo from Plymouth Yarns to make Ella from Knitty. I started it and I really love how easy it is to knit.
Later.
It's been awhile
Sorry that it has been awhile since I have written anything. I have not had a moment. Things have been a little crazy at my house. My mother is doing much better and today is her first day back at work.
I have been knitting though. I made some felted bowls. The pattern is from the book One-Skein. I am also in the process of knitting a bag from the Pursenalities Plus book. There are a few of the bags in that book that I am thinking of knitting. I am still working on the shawl in the Helen's Lace yarn. That is one very slow going project!
I have decided to take a Cabling class. I tried to teach myself to cable, butI just keep messing it up royally, so I decided to take a class.
And that's it for now.
