No title necessary
Hi all
Just a quick update on some of my UFOs.....
I am 3/4 of the way done on the afghan, 1/2 done on the sweater, and somewhere in between on the other projects I have going on needles. I am trying to keep up with it all.
Has anyone started their Christmas shopping yet? And I am not talking about knitting gifts, actual shopping. I have not even thought about it yet. I should though since the day is coming very quickly.
I'm going to Buck's County, PA this weekend to visit a friend of mine. The unfortunate thing is I will not bring any knitting with me because she will keep me busy on her farm all weekend.

Hi All -- I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!
The weather here in the East was terrible. Rain, Rain, Rain... But I did not have to go anywhere so there! Everyone came to my house.
On Saturday I got home after a long long long day to discover another package at my front door. It was from my Secret Pal and here is what I discovered in the box:
Handmade knitting needles with rubber ball tops. They are the cutest things!
A word search and crossword
A scarf pattern along with 3 balls of Schulana Bando in a denim blue outlined in black
A bookmark along with 2 books: The Devil in the White City and At Risk

I am still working on the sweater. This thing is taking forever. I try to work on it every night.
I am also working on an afghan for one of my cousins. She really wanted one badly so I am halfway done with that as well. And in between I am working on a scarf for myself.
That's about all for now. I hope everyone has a very Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
Secret Pal Strikes Again!
My Secret Pal struck again. I went home from work last night to find a box on my doorstep.
I opened it up to find lovely rose petal soaps, French milled button soaps (which actually look like buttons) in a nicely decorated box, and a bathmitt she made herself in pink KnitPicks Shine worsted.
I actually have the pattern and I have some turquoise Shin Worsted to make it but I have just not had the chance to do so. This was the perfect gift!
Thank you so much Secret Pal, you sure do know how to spoil a gal!
As for knitting, I am still working on the ARAN sweater and am a little stuck on the pattern. I have to call the teacher this evening and see if she can help me.
