SP Reveal

Hi Everyone,

I received my final package for this round of SP -- Boy did I get lots of goodies!

I received a box full of the following:

A Book:  The Widow of the South
A knitted lace bookmark
1 skein of Bernat Camouflage
1 skein Sinfonia
2 skeins of Knitpicks Shadow in Grape Jelly w/ patterns
2 photo albums
and a box of chocolate truffles
She also sent me a news letter type of note along with a picture of herself on the floor laying on over 50 skeins of yarn!

Feeling icky

I have been feeling kind of gross lately.  I have been to see my Drs and this is what is going on with me:

High cholesterol.  I am one of the lucky ones that my body produces high cholesterol.  I am not on Vytorin 10/10 in addition to my hormone pill and prozac. 

My Lasik surgery that I had five years ago has gone kaput. I am now wearing glasses again. 

I may have to have surgery on my right foot to repair muscles.  Not sure if I really want to have that one.

In between all the Drs appts, I have been knitting....mindless knitting -- scarves and such.

I revealed myself to my SP and she e-mailed me that she received my package and such.  I think I will really miss this round.  She was so easy to buy for!

Happy Friday everyone! 

Not much going on in knitting world here.  I have been feeling under the weather.  I did send my SP her last package and I revealed myself to her.  I am awaiting to hear whether she has received her package yet.

More Classes

I signed up for another class at the LYS.  It starts in February and lasts 3 weeks.  It is a Kaleidascope Wrap class and the wrap is made in Noro silk.  I just bought the yarn last night.  I cannot wait to start.  I have never knit in Entralac and I cannot wait to learn. 

I finished another scarf for my stash as well. 

Well, that's about it for now.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year everyone.  I hope everyone had a nice New Years.  I know I did.

I have been knitting up a storm.  I decided that I am going to have a table at an Art Festival here in RI that is in October.  So I am knitting items to sell at the Festival.  I have made a shawl and two scarves so far.

It is also time for the Special Olympics Fashion Show.  I am Chairing the event again.  The show is March 29th this year so I will be very busy for the next 2 months.
