Misc Stuff
Hi All
I took an Entrelac Scarf class at my LYS. What a great class. I couldn't get over how easy it was to do entrelac. I finished the scarf in 2 weeks! I have decided to take a beaded belt class in March.
I leave for Florida next Thursday. I will be back on the following Monday and then on Tuesday I have to have a mole biopsied.
The Special Olympics Fashion Show is coming up in March on the 29th. I am super busy getting ready for that!
Then in April on the 6th I am having surgery. I have to have a ligament repaired in my right foot. I will be out of work for two weeks while on crutches and in a cast. I will be in a boot and on crutches for 4 to 6 weeks. NO DRIVING!!!!! I don't know what I am going to do. Not driving is going to drive me up a wall! But, on the other hand I will get a ton of knitting done!

So Here is my SP10 Questionnaire
1. What is/are your favorite yarn/s to knit with? What fibers do you absolutely *not* like? I love to knit with Merino Wool, anything really except Fun Fur and Eyelash and acrylic
2. What do you use to store your needles/hooks in? I have my Denise needles in their case and the rest in a wine bottle box.
3. How long have you been knitting & how did you learn? Would you consider your skill level to be beginner, intermediate or advanced? I have been knitting for 4 years now and I learned from a wonderful woman at my LYS. I consider myself an internediate knitter.
4. Do you have an Amazon or other online wish list? I do...ask me about it.
5. What's your favorite scent? Anything clean smelling and also citrus.
6. Do you have a sweet tooth? Favorite candy? Doesn't Everybody??? I love chocolate truffles.
7. What other crafts or Do-It-Yourself things do you like to do? Do you spin? I am just into knitting although I do know how to spin, I just do not have the time.
8. What kind of music do you like? Can your computer/stereo play MP3s? (if your buddy wants to make you a CD) I like Stevie Ray Vaughn and the Beatles
9. What's your favorite color(s)? Any colors you just can't stand? I am not into bright yellows or bright oranges.
10. What is your family situation? Do you have any pets? I have a roommate and no pets
11. Do you wear scarves, hats, mittens or ponchos? yes, yes, no
12. What is/are your favorite item/s to knit? I love to knit everything.
13. What are you knitting right now? I just finished an entrelac scarf
14. Do you like to receive handmade gifts? YES
15. Do you prefer straight or circular needles? Bamboo, aluminum, plastic? I love my Denise Needles
16. Do you own a yarn winder and/or swift? Yes, Yes
17. How old is your oldest UFO? About one year old.
18. What is your favorite holiday? My Birthday because it is MINE
19. Is there anything that you collect? Yarn, Knitting Books and Magazines
20. Any books, yarns, needles or patterns out there you are dying to get your hands on? What knitting magazine subscriptions do you have? I have just about everything book I want.
21. Are there any new techniques you'd like to learn? Faire Isle
22. Are you a sock knitter? What are your foot measurements? Yes, size 8
