Here are my answers to the SP 13 questionnaire. I hope it helps. 1. What is/are your favorite yarn/s to knit with? What fibers do you absolutely *not* like? I love everything soft. No scratchy wools or acrylics 2. What do you use to store your needles/hooks in? I have the Denise needles in their case when not in use and my straights in a wine bottle holder 3. How long have you been knitting & how did you learn? Would you consider your skill level to be beginner, intermediate or advanced? I have been knitting for about 8 years and learned from a wonderful woman at my LYS. I consider myself beginner advanced. 4. Do you have an Amazon or other online wish list? Yes, ask me about it. 5. What's your favorite scent? Anything clean smelling, also some citrus 6. Do you have a sweet tooth? Favorite candy? Doesn't everyone? I love gummy bears but not the soft soft ones. 7. What other crafts or Do-It-Yourself things do you like to do? Do you spin? I pretty much knit, although I did learn to hand spin 8. What kind of music do you like? Can your computer/stereo play MP3s? (if your buddy wants to make you a CD) I live alternative and classic rock. My computer can play CDs 9. What's your favorite color(s)? Any colors you just can't stand? I love shades of blue. I am not fond of oranges, yellows, or browns. 10. What is your family situation? Do you have any pets? I have a roommate and also a 7 month old Chiuhuahua named Niko. 11. Do you wear scarves, hats, mittens or ponchos? Scarves and mittens - yes, ponchos - no, hats - sometimes 12. What is/are your favorite item/s to knit? Shawls 13. What are you knitting right now? A vest 14. Do you like to receive handmade gifts? Yes Yes Yes 15. Do you prefer straight or circular needles? Bamboo, aluminum, plastic? I prefer my Denise Circs. 16. Do you own a yarn winder and/or swift? Yes and Yes 17. How old is your oldest UFO? 4 years old 18. What is your favorite holiday? What winter holiday do you observe? I observe Christmas and I love it. 19. Is there anything that you collect? yarn and knitting books 20. Any books, yarns, needles or patterns out there you are dying to get your hands on? What knitting magazine subscriptions do you have? I have subscriptions to all the knitting mags. 21. Are there any new techniques you'd like to learn? How to read a lace chart 22. Are you a sock knitter? What are your foot measurements? Yes and size 8 23. When is your birthday? October 8th 24. Are you on Ravelry? If so, what's your ID? I am really excited about starting SP 13. I have done 10 of these and only had one bad experience. I think it is great and I can't wait to begin! |
