Hello
10.27.05 (12:01 pm) [edit]
You know, I can never figure out a good line to put in the subject. I am not very imaginative in that way. How do you figure out clever things to say in your subject lines?
The baby blanket is done! Yeah!!!!! I now have to work on a few other items. A scarf for the women who gave me the interchangeable needle set; an afghan for my cousin whose name I picked for Christmas; and possibly a poncho for another cousin who wants one. Also, I made myself a Blue Heron chenille scarf and my mother decided she wants one, so I picked up a skein from Ebay and I really should make her one (since she turns 60 on Christmas Eve).
Too many items to make, so little time!
I went through my yarn stash the other night. I decided that all of the yarn I was never going to use, that I really did not care too much about, I was going to give an old women who lives in one of the apartment housing for old people. So, I did. This women is in a wheelchair and all she does all day long is sit in the lobby of her building and knit. She was estatic! I am so happy I did that!
So, now, since my stash is much smaller, I can go to my LYS tonight when I go to knit and pick up some more yarn to add back to my stash!
Later!
