SP8 Questionnaire

Below is my SP8 Questionnaire:


1. What is/are your favorite yarn/s to knit with? What fibers do you absolutely *not* like?  I do not like Fun Fur or scratchy wool

2. What do you use to store your needles/hooks in?  I mainly use my Denise Needles, but all my straights I put in a Wine Box.

3. How long have you been knitting? Would you consider your skill level to be beginner, intermediate or advanced?  I have been knitting for 4 years now and consider myself an intermediate knitter.

4. Do you have an Amazon or other online wish list?  I do have an Amazon wish list.  Ask me and I will tell you about it.

5. What's your favorite scent? (for candles, bath products etc.)  I love anything clean smelling and citrus.

6. Do you have a sweet tooth? Favorite candy?  I love truffles.

7. What other crafts or Do-It-Yourself things do you like to do? Do you spin?  I just learned to spin using my new drop spindle.  I am having problems plying though.

8. What kind of music do you like? Can your computer/stereo play MP3s? (if your buddy wants to make you a CD)  I love classic rock, R&B, oldies.  I do not have an MP3 and my computer does not play them.

9. What's your favorite color? Or--do you have a color family/season/palette you prefer? Any colors you just can't stand?  My favorite color is blue -- The only color I cannot stand is orange.

10. What is your family situation? Do you have any pets?  I live with a roommate and we do not have pets.

11. Do you wear scarves, hats, mittens or ponchos?  yes, yes, yes, yes.

12. What is/are your favorite item/s to knit?  I love to knit shawls.

13. What are you knitting right now?  I am knitting a shawl right now.

14. Do you like to receive handmade gifts?  YES.

15. Do you prefer straight or circular needles? Bamboo, aluminum, plastic?  I LOVE my Denise needles.

16. Do you own a yarn winder and/or swift?  Yes, Yes

17. How did you learn to knit?  I took a class at my LYS.

18. How old is your oldest UFO?  I do not have one.

19. What is your favorite holiday?  Christmas

20. Is there anything that you collect?  Yarn, Knitting Magazines, Knitting Books

21. Any books, yarns, needles or patterns out there you are dying to get your hands on? What knitting magazine subscriptions do you have?  Pls see my Amazon wishlist.  No specific patterns, I do subscribe to IK, Vogue Knitting and Creative Knitting.

22. Are there any new techniques you'd like to learn?  Entrelac and Modular

23. Are you a sock knitter? What are your foot measurements?  I am a sock knitter and my size is 7-1/2 --- 8

24. When is your birthday? (mm/dd) October 8th
