Drunken Knitting

Have you ever knit while drinking or after you've been drinking?  This is a VERY VERY VERY bad thing to do!

The other night I went to my Aunt's house for dinner.  After some very good food and very good wine (almost a whole bottle of it) a nice Shiraz, I went home and decided to knit some rows on my Tricia's Shawl.  BIG BIG BIG mistake!

The next morning I awoke in a haze and looked at my shawl.  I almost screamed.  I have no idea what in the heck I did but it was bad.  I had to rip out about 10 rows!  With over 150 stitches on the needles, I was not a happy camper!

I have vowed to never, ever knit again while drinking or after drinking.  I even told my roommate that if she saw me pick up my needles with a glass of wine or any alcoholic beverage near me or if she saw me attempting to knit after drinking to please take my needles away from me.
