I am so upset

O.K. so last night I am at my LYS andI am knitting on my sweater. I am eight rows into it..(I know only 8 rows, but...) when the knitting comes off the needles. I fixed it but I must have missed a stitch because there was a big hole. I didn't want to rip the yarn because it is Egyptian Cotton so I tore it all out.
Not a very happy camper, because it took me 2 hours to do eight rows!

Don't be upset! I do that all the time. Second thoughts, yeh it really gets me too. I wish I had a LYS to go knit, the UK is a pretty sad place as far as knitters are concerned.

the UK doesn't have a lot of yarn stores? I'm sorry about that!

Not 2 worry. . . happens to the best. Wood needles make the fibers less likely to slip; however, it also makes knitting a little slower, but then hey, with Egyptian cotton, maybe a little slower is better.
Good luck,
